Little Rachel was born on April 4, 2010. What an adorable little girl! We were thrilled to be asked to make the babyshower cake to make this a special occasion. Her parents didn't have a particular theme in mind so we were given free roam. How fun!! We chose the theme to be Butterflies with the colors Purple and Yellow. Now the decision was whether to pipe butterflies or go for a 3D look. 3D just sounded so much more exciting! So we chose realistic butterflies to be placed on the cake, certainly making it pop.
Now in the pictures you may notice that we spelled her name RACHAEL. We were misinformed of the spelling, therefore spelled it incorrectly on the cake. How embarassing! It is actually spelled RACHEL. Now we know! :-) Either way, it turned out lovely and we were very thrilled at how fun a super simple cake could be.
